Photography & Philosophy by Nicholas Ryan Howard

About

If existence feels as if we have spawned into a game governed by structure, rules, and order, then traveling the world is a way to break through the manmade geometry designed to keep players constrained and in-bounds. Resembling glitch worlds in video games—surprising, unpredictable, and unbelievable areas that players were never expected to enter—each new destination often feels like a secret portal to another realm, another plane of existence. Glitch Worlds by Nicholas Ryan Howard is an ever-evolving photographic and philosophical exploration of seemingly impossible, improbable, and unbelievable places that, when experienced, change the way the game of life is viewed—and can be played—forever.
